WhatsApp is now available to use on Web.

Over the last couple of days WhatsApp was banning it’s user for 24 hours who were using a third party chat client  WhatsApp+  to use two WhatsApp account on the same phone. The company started banning users of these apps and then finally sent a cease and desist letter to the most popular app WhatsApp+—which has effectively shut it down.
Upgrading its services, WhatsApp has launched its web-based chat client to make chat conversations on web browsers . Rumors of it coming soon started appearing yesterday when screenshots of the latest WhatsApp app leaked showing an interface for logging into the web app. You can use its web based service by scanning the QR code in-browser, after which one can start chatting with WhatsApp friends from the desktop.

This service is currently not available for iOS version of the app. To use this service on your Android, Windows or Blackberry smartphone navigate to the “WhatsApp Web” page by following https://web.whatsapp.com/. From there, you’ll need to scan a QR code. This browser based chat service currently works only with Google Chrome. WhatsApp says that they will provide support for other web browser soon.
